Our current membership includes Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts, Registered Behavior Technicians, university faculty & administrators, program directors, teachers, speech pathologists, parents, and students.
Types of Membership
Anyone interested in behavior analysis is welcome to join ALABA; we offer 3 categories of membership (see our bylaws for more details):
- Full Membership is for any individual holding (a) a graduate degree in a discipline directly related to or involving behavior analysis and whose professional commitment includes teaching, research, and/or practice in behavior analysis or (b) BACB certification (BCBA-D, BCBA, or BCaBA). Fees are based on the highest degree held.
- Affiliate Membership is for any individual with an interest in behavior analysis, but without formal university training therein (e.g., RBTs, parents, other professionals).
- Student Membership is for any individual pursuing formal training in the discipline of behavior analysis, but not yet gainfully employed therein, on at least a half-time basis.

All fees include a one-year membership that begins July 1 and ends June 30.
